“They say first impressions are everything. When I read Jeremiah Castelo’s description of his album, Every Part of Mine, he said, “My music has been likened to what the soundtrack to a Stanley Kubrick film would sound like, if it had been co-written by both Jamiroquai and Radiohead.” I was definitely left with a curiosity of what this might exactly sound like. After sampling through a few songs, it was clear that this was not going to be just a quick listen. There’s something truly unique within Every Part of Mine, and it would take me more than one play through to put my finger on it. Jeremiah’s music progresses a genre called Rhythm and Red: a mix of R&B and rock with electronic influences.

Not only is Castelo’s debut release a true one man project, Every Part of Mine is also a musical endeavor that is directly drawn from his personal life experiences.

Throughout his musical ventures, Castelo has constantly gone about doing everything himself, from writing and composing to recording and producing, and that is exactly what he has done for his debut album Every Part Of Mine, which was written and composed over a span of seven years. And since a whole seven years of his life is reflected through this album, it is only logical that each song would demonstrate the various mind-sets he has gone through. And due to the production length, Castelo has had much time to reflect on his creations and to revise them to better reflect his message if need be.

Jeremiah Castelo’s style is a blend of Progressive Rock, Electronica, and R&B. It has a cinematic quality that can be likened to the soundtrack of a Stanley Kubrick film, composed by Radiohead and Jamiroquai. His debut full length album “Every Part of Mine” is a 10 song collection of lush compositions of emotion-provoking melodies, complex grooves, and deep meaningful poetry.
